Best Pratices in Technology Integration include authentic problem-based learning experiences in which students use critical thinking skills in activites that would not be possible without the technology. Research shows that this kind of integration has the most impact on student learning.

that students will need in "real" world situations:

Collaboration - In this shrinking "flat" world students need to learn to combine ideas and work together.
